In America it’s common knowledge that one of the best places to meet single women is at a wedding. In the movie Wedding Crashers, John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) are divorce lawyers who spend their weekends crashing weddings. When John falls in love with a young girl (Claire Cleary) he meets at a wedding, he and Jeremy join the girl for a wild weekend at her family’s estate.

Derek: Um, yeah. He’s a pretty good actor.
Dave: Yeah. He and Owen Wilson, they had a movie out this summer called Wedding Crashers.
Derek: Oh yeah, I heard about that. I know a lot of people who have been talking about that movie.
Dave: Yeah, have you seen it?
Derek: Ah, no I haven’t yet. Everybody recommends it.
Dave: Yeah, I recommend it. It’s a hilarious movie.
Derek: Yeah, what…what’s it about, mostly?
Dave: Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson play divorce lawyers.
Derek: Ah.
Dave: And what they do is, they go around crashing weddings over the summertime. Because, what’s the best place to meet a single woman?
Derek: Well, that would be at a wedding.
Dave: It is – at a wedding. I don’t know why that is. But in the movie, they go to weddings and they meet single women. Then, one particular wedding Owen Wilson meets a young girl, falls in love; Vince Vaughn meets a young girl who falls in love with him. What happens is pretty hilarious.
Derek: That sounds like it might be pretty entertaining.
