On the 6th February which is the lunar New Year's Eve, my immediate family members including my parents and my grandpa gathered together at the table laden with a smorgasbord of food such as fried meat balls (rou yuan zi in Chinese, and it's one of my father's  best dishes which gains a wide popularity among our relatives) which symbolizing the reunion of family members (tuan yuan), fish with ketchup (oh, it's so scrumptious with a little bit sweet flavor), which kind of reminded me of last year this time my father told me that the fish must be intact until the l5th days thus made us mouth watering as staring at the big fish, you might've guessed that the fate of this fish. There's one thing I must clarify that it's my father not me a good cook, I just learned cooking (how to boil the noodles, and I can make only a dish). You know, his shoes are too large for me to fill, however I won't give up the pursuit of good food and learning cooking. You know, for I having been wearing braces, I thought I'd miss out an awful lot of yummy food, nevertheless, I could still enjoy a large portion of food other than the extremely hard one. After the gluttony (why I use this word is that it's a trend in China as we talk about spring festival the first thing come into our mind is food), it's our family tradition that sitting around the television watching the spring festival season gala show. As the time approached the 12 midnight, the hosts on TV were in countdown for the lunar New Year, all the neighbors coming out setting off the firecrackers and fireworks. As one fell, the other rose. The sound of the firecrackers and fireworks were deafening crawling with the atmosphere that added to the excitement of New Year. This was a sleepless and restless night.

Day 21: If you come home late, you'd better sneak into your house so u don't wake anyone up.

如果你回家太晚了， 你最好小心地走回房间，这样你就不会吵醒任何人。

Day 22: I love playing cards with Duran, because I kill him every time

我最喜欢干的事情就是和Duran打牌，因为我每次都赢他。

Day 23: That's a really sharp looking suit.

这套西装可真精神。

Day 24: We lost the project. Apple Company beat us to the draw.

这个项目我们没有拿到，因为苹果公司抢先了一步。

Day 25: Well, Liz, can I make myself useful?

嗨，我能帮上什么忙吗？

Day 26: Excuse me, any idea what time it is？

劳驾，您知道几点了吗？

Day 27: All in all，even though he has problems, he is a good soccer player.

说一千道一万，虽然他有缺点，但我还是认为他是个很棒的球员。

Day 28: You must have been hungry.

你一定是饿了吧。

Day 29: She’s always talking to man but she never gives them her phone number. She's just teasing them.

她经常跟男性聊天和说话，可她从来不把自己的电话给别人。她跟那些男人只是玩玩而已。

Day 30: The swimming-pool is so cool.

游泳池太凉了。

Day 31: She's a gorgeous woman.

她是位气质高雅的女士。

Day 32: She is so hot.

她真火辣。

Day 33: He is a lady killer.

他是女性的杀手（意思是万人迷， 任何女人都会被他迷倒）。

Day 34: Duran has a strong personality.

Duran的个性很强。

Day 35: I had a hunch on that I'll never see the money again.

我有预感我再也弄不回那些钱了。

Day 36: I'm at a loss for words. How dare you accuse me of stealing!

我真不知道该怎么跟你说，你怎么会怀疑是我偷了东西！

Day 37: I'm turning over a new leaf, no more drinking, no more smoking. It's a healthy life from now on.

我开始了全新的一页，不抽烟不喝酒，现在过健康的生活了。

Day 38: Don't listen to what he says, he's an idiot.

别听他的，他是个白痴。

Day 39: Erin hasn't slept for two days, so stay away from her, she's a little edgy.

Erin已经两天没睡觉了，离她远一点，因为她情绪不太好。

Day 40: David can play the violin. I had no idea he was so talented!

大卫会拉小提琴。我怎么不知道他那么多才多艺！
