John:  So, man. That was a great party last night, huh?

Miguel:  It was. It was fantastic! I think the turnout was really good. I was a little bit surprised.

John:  How many people would you say?

Miguel:  Well, there had to be in the neighborhood of a hundred or something ‘cause this place was pretty packed.

John:   Oh, yeah! At least! I think the coolest thing was having our family, friends, business partners, clients, everyone involved just kinda together and everyone meeting each other.

Miguel:  Yeah, the mix was cool. Like, I felt really good about just bouncing back from, you know, friend to business contact and they all blended together really well. They felt really good because everyone, everyone was friendly and they were like, “Oh, I met like 8 new people tonight,” you know? And that’s always cool.

John:  And we didn’t even need Tanis’ name tags she wanted us to use!

Miguel:  That’s true!

John:  The, “Hello My Name Is…”

Miguel:  Right. Right.

John:   People just kinda mingled on their own.

Miguel:   They’re outgoing. It’s something about the atmosphere. We, we made it good for people to be social.

John:  Yeah. It’s this new office. I think, you know, with all the brick and exposed beams and everything, it’s warm and the music was playing and those Italian guys showing up and playing that guitar!

Miguel:  I know! Singing! That was amazing! It totally blew me away!

John:   That was crazy. I wonder when our next party’s gonna be?

Miguel:   Hopefully soon. We don’t want to wait another two years before we have a party again.

John:   No. Not at all.

Discussion

As you can see, Migs and I are pretty happy about being able to have a party and share our company with everyone. We love to bring all of our friends together for a good time. Hopefully we can have a party in your city soon!
Do you have any good party stories to tell? When was the last party you held and what was the occasion? Tell us about it at the Life Goes On message board. It’s great practice, and an Ebaby! staff member will help you with your English!
See you next week!
