out to pasture

I am gradually being put out to pasture at work. That’s why I come here to practise and improve my English to get a new job. This new vocabulary is appropriate to my situation.

I think it’s better when you decide to be out to pasture than when others decide that for you.

I hope to go out to pasture in my 50s to be able to enjoy more what I have.  I have enjoyed my life at limit, so far.  Every single moment has been rewarding.

What I think it’s more important is to plan ahead, to have an idea at least about your budget, activities and people that could be around you at that moment.

In my opinion whenever sb’s performance or efficiency decline dramatically for a while it’s the time he should put himself out to pasture no matter whom he is and what he did. For instance Diego Marodona, pele and other great superstars in football retired themselves and hanged their shoes on their neck. I always admire actors, players and other famous people when they put themselves out to pasute while they are at their apex time. i.e Zizo(Zeynedin zeydan) French soccer player. 

In fact for us as ordinary people money is the main thing we care about it. Consequently, if we make much more money enough for the rest of our lives maybe we will put ourselves out to pasture, too. 

I don’t see the act of going out to pasture as a bad thing! I mean, when it comes to this subject, people get sad! Just as if they were going to die…

I definitely don’t see things in this way… I’m only 19, but I want to retire as soon as possible! And don’t you think that I won’t have anything to do… I will! And a lot of things!

I think about maybe blowing the money that I’ll get out on a bunch of trips! If we can’t do that when we’re still younger, why not when we’re “old”? I can’t see the time for that! (yn) 

whatever pasture, only if I live better off with rich pension, insurance, and respectable life, what do you say. 

I heard those retired people, babyboomers, they got used to work so much that even when they retire, doing nothing is slowly “killing” them and they get back to pasture with all their efforts, but it’s tough.

well i like put out to pasture wen i being old men but i don`t know how i`d feel about those times i don`t know when the people get older and you are a old man you think that your are a failure for the people or your family or the whole world

I have reached the age  when it is supposed  that as i am  collecting a pension from  social security  i shouldn`t work anymore ,thenceforth  putting myself out to pasture  the rest of my life. The reality is that the money  I receive  from the government  it is short of a  misery , hard to make ends meet, forget about pasturing !!,I must  keep on working, besides,  it is very “stressful”  not having nothing to do  . We must have our mind  and body  healthy  doing exercise and have some kind of  routine  everyday.  

I never think Meryl Streep is old for movies,I am her loyal funs,I would always support on her. 

I think the actress Meryl Streep was right. We must decide by ourselves, when it is possible of course, when we should go ” out of pasture” , not other people!!

We, elderly people, are going to play on the border of the football field to avoid that the ball goes out of the field…....and to save your game…who wants to understand, he/she will understand…
