I used to take piano lessons when I was a kid, but the teacher had a habit of beating us on the knuckles with the edge of a ruler, so I told my father and stopped going for classes.

Of course, we could enjoy singing or humming songs we like. Some actors who were not known to be singers, went on to produce "classics" as singers in some of their movies, like Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood and Eddie Murphy.

people used to think that learning is directly linked to their age but it's not. my grandfather is learning from me how to use a computer, and it took him more than a week to learn how to turn on and off. but he still insisting on the way how to send and recieve messages. i confess that he isn't looking for a girl friend but his curiosity is stronger (curiosity is the mother of sciences) so he promised me to master it before he's leaving. he said once that if i want to learn something, i must persist on it. it's the best way.
