Hi, everyone!Smile

I'm a twenty-year-old Japanese girl.

I watched a video about Japanese young girls' fashion in my class.  In that video, many young people all over the world come to Tokyo, Japan, to buy clothes.  They buy a lot of clothes.  A young non-Japanese girl spends $4000 on her clothes in a week!  I was surprised.

I think the fashion of Japanese girls and boys is really fashionable.  But on the other hand, they often look the same.  Most of young people in Japan tint them hair, and I'm the one of them.  It's fashionable among them to wear color contact lenses.

How much do you know about Japanese young people's fashion?  What's your image?  And what do you think about our fashion?  What's fashionable in your country?

I'm really interested in foreigner's opinions!

And I also want some Japanese help!

Thank you.

In the US, Japanese have a reputation for being fashionable. Americans just aren't very fashionable, especially people who don't live in cities. So compared to Americans, people in Japan are very fashionable.

Personally, I think young people spend too much time and money on fashion and not enough time on "action." I am especially disappointed to see people wasting money on name-brand bags and things when there are so many better ways to spend your money -like traveling, having an exciting life, or helping people.

Hi! MaaYaaSmile

I think that  Japanese is fashionable.

And  Japanese follow the mode.

But I think that Japanese individuality is lost.

I think that it should value individuality

I like Japanese clothes. Because it was pretty.  Popular fashion is similar to other people.  But I think that I wear my favorite clothes.  So it's no problemCool
