Do you remember learning how to ride a bike? Like most people, you probably started at a young age on a bike with three wheels. And you probably practiced like that for a while. To get a feel for something means to become comfortable with doing a new activity. Some things take a while to get a feel for, like driving a car or playing golf. Other things can be much easier.
