Marni:  Jason, if you could go anywhere in the world this year, travel to any country, any island, anywhere, where would you go?

Jason:  Well, the key is this year, because the place I would go is Cuba, because Cuba is changing so rapidly, and I understand that it’s, in some ways, a time capsule right now. There’s all these old cars and old architecture, and things just really haven’t been updated. So I would love to travel through time, and it seems like going to Cuba is a good way to do that.

Marni:  I couldn’t agree more. Cuba is so high on my list because I think it’s a fascinating place. But this is a huge world and we have so many places we could possibly go. I personally know that I won’t be traveling anywhere out of the country, so I’m looking at more local travel within the United States.

Jason:  You do? How do you know?

Marni:  I’ve got a lot going on already, so I know that I’m gonna be staying local. But I am planning on visiting one of our national parks over the summer.

Jason:  Oh, OK, which one?

Marni:  I’m gonna be going to Yosemite, and I’ve never been there.

Jason:  Yeah, I mean that’s great. But like, I think to me it’s about prioritizing. I want to get to the places that are happening, and that are gonna change. I mean, when you travel somewhere, you’re not just traveling to another place, you’re traveling to that place at a particular time. You only get this little window there, so you have to time your travel just right, I think.

Marni:  There you go, yeah. I think you make an excellent point. Well, I wish you well on your travel adventures.

Jason:  Gracias.

Go Super to Listen Go Super!

Marni asks Jason where he would go if he could go anywhere in the world this year. He says that this year, he wants to go to Cuba because he thinks it would be a fascinating place to visit right now because of the beautiful architecture and old cars. Jason thinks that Cuba is changing quickly, and he wants to see it before it’s too different.

Cuba is a place Marni would like to visit as well. But this year, she plans to stay a bit more local. She is going to visit Yosemite National Park, in California.

If you could go anywhere in the world this year, where would you go? Do you have any trips planned for 2012 so far?

Friends , in Argentina we need a visa to the US.  We have to pay in advance  dollares 131.

It could be the case that  the Consulate  reject the petition  .You will not only be dissapointed  , the consulate doesn´t reimburse the money  that you had to pay for.

How could I forget about Antarctica. Yes, number 1 in a list. How’s it there, Snoopyboy, chilly? How many parkas to take to keep warm. ;) I’ll take my magic tea kettle and will be meditating with seals and pinguins. Who wants to join?;)

I most love to travel to Asian countries esp those who have  kind , warmhearted and hospitable people.I didn’t have the chance to travel abroad so far but the hear say is that the Turkish and their government are so good with Iranians maybe that’s why a lot of Iranians  travel there each year because of its beautiful ambiance and nice people so my first option is there and the second one will be Mecca just because of its holiness

When I was declined visa back in Ukraine, they said they needed proof (receipts, letters anything) that I’d have no intentions and interest to stay in the country of destination and that I only go there for visiting and, for sure, will come back. I spent $50 which went down the drain. But didn’t give up, got all the documents they needed, reapplied, spent again the same money and got visa. But that was long long time ago. Right now, as far as I know, the officer just giving the passports with visas outside. But one thing, is for sure, the documents proofing that you come back should be very convincing otherwise you’ll be just trhowing money.

That is a hard question. There are so many places I would like to visit…. Cuba is one of them, and the Maldive Islands also. Both are changing, for different reasons. Cuba is changing due to politic and economic reasons. Maldive Islands are being affected by climate changes and I heard that they can disapear in the future. Well, I want visit them before it will be late.

Julito, I will put your words in my comment because they are super true: There are so many wonderful places  to choose from. I think that even with money it takes more than one life to visit them all.”  This year I will not be able to go abroad, because of the very sad event I had in my family. May be next year? I’m not sure yet.

Sveta_001, your dreams and my dreams about UK are the same. I’m yearning to visit England (moreover, I have got friend who lives there and invites me to visit that country during 4 years non-stop).

“To see Paris and to die!” – I want to visit France so much :)

India – how many magic and attraction within this wonderful country!!!  Taj Mahal ….... I can only dream to be there.

Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand these countries are only on the top of the list of places I dream to visit.

I want to see the whole world!  Dreams. dreams…............

Keep on dreaming Wink
