Dave: John, the Superbowl is this Sunday, right?
John: Yeah, you going to go to a party or anything?
Dave: No, I’m not really a football fan.
John: Oh, that’s too bad. So, you’re going to miss the halftime show.
Dave: Yeah, it’s, I heard it’s going to be The Rolling Stones, right?
John: Oh, it is?
Dave: Yeah.
John: Yeah, that seems a little bit safer after what happened last year with Janet Jackson.
Dave: Yeah, the breast exposure incident.
John: Yeah, that didn’t go over too well.
Dave: No, it didn’t.
John: Yeah, The Stones should play it safe after that. You know, in the past they did some risky stuff, but I don’t think they would do anything like that now.
Dave: Now, The Stones, they’ve done a couple of halftime shows, haven’t they?
John: I think so.
Dave: Yeah.
John: I think they’re kind of a famous band.
Dave: Kind of a safe bet. They’re not going to be stripping on stage. Although, Mick Jagger might have a heart attack on stage.
John: Yeah! But they appeal to a big crowd, so it’ll be alright.

Discussion
The 2004 Superbowl Halftime Show was very controversial. Apart from the stripping incident with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, musician Kid Rock mistreated an American flag on stage and P. Diddy and his dancers were dressed very inappropriately.
