Do you like Baroque music, Novita?
Here's my favorite by Handel.

Bach, Vivaldi and Handel are the most noted.
Here are a couple of lesser known French Baroque composers:
Les Baricades Misterieuses – F. Couperin

On harpsichord:

Rameau – Les Paladins

Sort of a modern dance meets LSD.
My favorite part is the "Air" 2:33 until 3:50. This performance is a little faster than what I am used to.

Rameau – Les Indes galantes. Les Sauvages

Not a big opera fan but I like this.
Maybe it is the Native American in me.
The French idea of the Buffalo dance? Surprised

I love any kind of classical music, Nu Pogodi! Including Renaissance and Baroque music. Thanks for sharing these lovely pieces of music! I love Händel's "Sarabande", too.

This is one of my favourite pieces of Baroque music:

The first movement from "The Winter" from "The four Seasons" by Vivaldi played by Anne Sophie Mutter (Violin). Shudders run all over my body when I listen to this:

This is my answer to Couperin's "Baricades":

This is "La Cascade" by Ennemond Gaultier (1575-1651) played by Hopkinson Smith (11-course lute). This piece was a model for Couperin's "Baricades":

I love ancient instruments like lute or tiorba because of their soft, dim but resonant sound! Smile

This is my favourite singer Anne Sofie von Otter (Mezzo Soprano) from Sweden singing "Ombra mai fu" from "Xerxes" by Händel. Her voice is just awesome:

"Lamento d'Arianna" by Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643):

Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) played by the German Freiburg Baroque Orchestra:

Enjoy listening! Laughing
