I agree with you that we can not live without reading. Reading a lot books or artickels add our knowlegdes, make my life more interesting and help us a lot. in my leasure time I usually read it is depend on my moods. But I desire what kind book I often read including of education, psychology, religion or communication.
I not only read some book but also collect some book. One of my favorite books is ESQ.

It is necessary for anyone to read in the world. people began to read when they were children, and when they grew up and then became old , they always read. reading goes through people's live.

I also love reading a lot. And mostly I prefer modern American writers (or at least English-speaking writers), because I read them in original – I enjoy the book and at the same time practice my English)) Recently I've discovered the author Douglas Coupland. I strongly recommend you to read him! He is a Canadian writer and in his books he raises such topics as religion, dissapointment, grief and love. You can try his "Girlfriend in coma" or "Hey,Nostradamus!"

And if you want something funny, I recommend you to read David Sedaris. He is an American journalist and writer now living in France. He writes short stories which are just hilarious!! I can't stop laughing while reading them))) My favourite book is "Me talk pretty one day".

I've wrote down the writers and their books you mentioned..Thanks Lily..

If you like philosophy I strongly recommend "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" from Friedrich Nietsche..Its not boring as most of the informative books, it consists of small and interesting stories unlike other philosophy books..

Also if you are interested in history and military there's the historic document-like book "The Art of War" (Dell'arte della guerra) from Niccolo Machiavelli I can recommend you..
